People have been hunting with hawks since the Middle Ages. Join Jason Rysavy and friends as they share how to legally hunt locally and then be dressed to see it first hand. More info soon.

Jason and two of his falconry friends will discuss the history of falconry, how he got interested in the sport, and what it takes to be legally certified in MN. He will talk for as long as necessary then lead whoever wants to hunt to a spot within 15 minutes of Round Table. Jason’s team will probably hunt all afternoon and move locations. Visitors can stay as long as you want or take off whenever you want.

Be prepared to hike through snowy woods or cattails. You may have to move through thorny brush so don’t wear puffy clothes that could snag on undergrowth.
